This one was special. I really liked the complexity of the story. This narrator is wonderful. So calming to listen to and nice variation of voices for different characters. Highly recommend 😃

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. Everything about it was superb- storyline, narration, characters, setting. I now want to go and visit Jersey!
It was refreshing for the story not to end as soon as the characters had got together and to journey on a little bit into the future with them. Loved this story!

I read probably around 2 of these kind of books a week and this one is definitely up there with the best. The narration is perfection, the story line beautiful, and the characters all very likeable and relatable. Even the scenery descriptions make me want to visit the island all the way from Australia. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and the warm fuzzies it gives you.

I love a truly feel good story. Minimal angst which for this type of story is a blessing. I loved that I could put just about anyone I know in this story and believe it coups happen to them. I also really liked the epilogue, I hate loose ends and these were all tied up in a lovely bow. I'll be reading more from this author.
