Johan Padan, fuggito da Venezia perché complice di una "strolaga", una strega, e approdato a Siviglia, vedendo che anche lí l'Inquisizione è bene attiva, salta sulla prima nave che trova, e arriva alle Indie. Va in scena per la prima volta nel 1991.
