About this listen

Kip Carmichael is no pretty boy. He's rough. Dirty. Giant. Hair so unruly, and a beard so thick, his friends on the team call him Sasquatch.

The first time Sasquatch lays eyes on Theodora "Teddy" Johnson across the keg at a party one night on Jock Row, she'd been relegated to the sidelines by her jock-hungry "friends". Week after week, he watches beautiful but bashful Teddy getting overshadowed and overlooked.

Sasquatch finally broad-shoulders his way through the crowd, offering to to be her hairy godmother. But the minute their eyes meet? He's a goner.

Teaching her the rules for winning a jock will be the easy part. Not falling in love with her is going to be a losing game.

Sara Ney has been able to capture a subtle art of flirting, sarcastic humour and the feelings as they progress through their story.
Both Chelsea and Jacob do a wonderful job of narrating Ney’s Jock Rule. This is one book I have already read more than a few times and don’t doubt I will be reading it again.

Fantastically Fun Read/Listen

Just no. The female narrator just doesn’t live up to Jacob Morgan. She just makes the bad writing sound as bad as it is - Whiny and annoying and juvenile.

Uugghhh

I was really, REALLY looking forward to listening to this one. There's something about the male character being the outsider - that really appeals to me, and while the story itself was enjoyable, the female narrator ruined it for me. I understand that I'm listening to teenagers - but Teddy sounded a bit whiny and immature - and that did not correlate to Teddy's character at all.

I think I would have enjoyed it more if I had read this instead of listening to it. The only reason I kept going was honestly because of Jacob Morgan and his performance.

Enjoyed it but.....
