Die Haferhorde ist entsetzt: Weil im Dorf ein neuer Supermarkt eröffnet hat, muss Frau Schulze möglicherweise ihren Laden dichtmachen. Dabei hat der neue Supermarkt keinen Ponyparkplatz, und sowieso wollen Schoko und Co. aus Prinzip nur die Mohrrüben der Ladenfrau futtern. Und natürlich die aus Marias Gemüsegarten, aber auch die sind in Gefahr. Denn dort ist eine Kaninchenfamilie eingezogen und rückt den kleinen Mohrrübenpflanzen zu Leibe. Plötzlich steht die Möhrenversorgung also allerorten auf wackeligen Hufen. Höchste Zeit für einen Rüben-Rettungsplan!
