About this listen
A revolutionary program that will have everyone in the house sleeping through the night.
When Dr. Craig Canapari became a father, he realized that even three years of 36-hour hospital shifts didn't prepare him for the extreme sleep deprivation that comes with parenthood. Sleepless nights for kids means sleepless nights for the rest of the family-and a grumpy group around the breakfast table in the morning.
In It's Never Too Late to Sleep Train, Canapari harnesses the power of habit to chart a clear and concise path through this crowded, noisy world. The result is a streamlined two-step sleep training plan that focuses on cues and consequences, the two elements that shape all habits and that take on special importance in the case of children. In crisp conversational prose, Dr. Canapari distils years of clinical research and experience to make sleep training refreshingly simple and stress-free. The book is aimed at children between 6 months and early primary school age, who some falsely believe are outside the optimal "window" for sleep training. Dr. Canapari is here to prove that it's never too late. He's on your side in this battle against bedtime, and now parents and children alike can expect a lifetime of healthy sleep.

It changed our 3 yo sleep, and ours
Our 3 yo started to wake up every night when we had our second. For over 4 months he woke up every single night, once, twice, three or four times. At random times. It was beyond exhausting. By listening to Dr Canapari's book, we learnt what we had been doing wrong (letting him fall asleep with us reading books...) and what we can do to break the cycle, which makes a lot of sense (clear cues to sleep, walk away but promise to come back...). Within a week, the wakes at night came down to once. And within a month he's slept through 6 of 7 nights a week, taking only a few min to putting him back to sleep when he wakes up. It's been game changer. Recommend it to anyone in similar situations.
