Editorial Reviews
A full vocal cast brings Sir Isaac Newton's impressive biography to life in Isaac Newton: The Scientists and Inventors Series. British classical actor Clifford Rose performs the primary narrative, gently illustrating the contours of Newton's life from his solitary childhood, through his boisterous undergraduate life at Cambridge, to his epoch-defining book The Principia, finally landing on how Einstein expanded upon his work. Through the life he lived and his scientific achievements, listeners come to understand the brilliant mind of the man who shook the world with his revelation of the workings of the universe.

Good summary of a fascinating man
I really enjoyed this. Learnt a lot. The voices held my interest. Yes, there is music that goes longer than I expected between some scenes, but I wonder if this is to suggest the passage of time.

The message occasionally obscured by the delivery
The voices were occasionally obscure, and the music too loud. These are trifles. The project was well done.
