Not as good as the Aroostine Higgins series
Irreparable Harm is the first book in the five novel Sasha McCandless legal thriller series. The book is just OK and so is the narration. That is a disappointment after Melissa F Miller's Aroostine Higgins series. Looking at the ratings for the other four books in the series it appears that those books are much better. I will likely purchase the Kindle + Audible versions of them at Amazon because the Whispersync for Voice option costs less than half the cost of the Audible version alone.

Contrived and stupid
A high powered attorney on a major case for a huge law firm hears on the phone that a contact she's never even met is accosted and screaming after he conveniently forgets to hang up. What does the attorney do? Call the police to investigate? No, she jumps on a red eye flight to go to his apartment and investigate it herself.
Unfortunately this is not just one stupid contrivance, but rather one of the dozens in this idiotic book. I will stay away from this author forever.

Series has potential with a better narrator
The main character is likeable and feisty, but this series needs more interesting supporting characters and a much, much, much better narrator.

Interesting New Author
I'd never heard of Melissa Miller before but I'm glad I purchased this book. The protagonist is smart, funny, caring, and can kick butt. I'll be purchasing other books from Miller.

Beware if you fly....
Great story, with an interesting technology/legal background, but this is really a well written tale about greed. It is hard not to like the main characters, and dislike their opponents.

Irreparable Harm
This was a very interesting book, however, it was more of a mystery/legal thriller than a romance. There wasn't even any sexual tension between the two main characters during the story. The mystery was solved, & without talking to each other or even a kiss, it was over. Some stories have too much sex for my liking but this one didn't even suggest the two people might like each other or were more than business partners. Just FYI.

Don't waste your money or credits
I found this book banal, badly written, incredibly repetitive. The main character was totally unbelievable and irritating. The reader was dreadful , her Southern American accent really got to me. The actual story line was OK but it took real perseverance for me to finish it. Frankly not worth it.
