Hailed by Leo Durocher as “The most significant Chicago Cubs catcher since Gabby Hartnett” and known as “The Rebel” by legions of fans, Randy Hundley was one of the premier catchers in the major leagues of the '60s and '70s. He holds the MLB record for the most games caught-160-in a single season in 1968. After an incredible career that includes a Gold Glove and All-Star status, Hundley invented the Fantasy Camp concept.
For 38 years, he created an opportunity for thousands of adults to become the boys and girls of summer again and put on a Cubs uniform to play baseball with their heroes, including Hall of Famers Ferguson Jenkins, Ron Santo, Ernie Banks, Billy Williams, and Lee Smith.
