お好み焼きなど、庶民的な鉄板焼きもありますが、高級なレストランではステーキを提供するのが一般的で、ブランド和牛や伊勢エビ、あわびなどの高級食材が使用されます。
鉄板焼きは、店でだけでなく、キャンプなど野外でも楽しめ、ホットプレートを使用して家庭で味わうこともできます。
