🎧 Narrator comment: I enjoyed Wyatt Baker's narration. He has good cadence, inflections and intonations and it's easy to distinguish the characters from each other. Overall I enjoyed his performance and he bought each snippet to life.

Loved! Such a treat!

It's always a good day when I get to revisit with two of my all time favorite characters, Snow and Winter!
Interlude is a collection of delightful short stories that follow our favorite couple.
Full of all the snark we have come to expect and love from our residential antiques dealer Sebastian and the strength and patience that comes with Calvin!
Above all else is the absolute, unconditional love they have for each other!
I know that this will be a book I pick up and randomly pick one of the gems to revisit!
Wyatt Baker does a wonderful job narrating this gem!

Seb & Calvin the perfect Ampersand couple

Interlude by C.S. Poe was given to me in exchange for an honest review. I was so happy to listen to Wyatt Baker bring them into my living room to laugh and listen to them bicker and love one another. It is so fun to check into their lives and make sure all is well. I will say I loved the whole book but Someone's in the Wall just cracked me up so much I had tears in my eyes. This is definitely a reread.

A must for fans of the series

Great, funny stories that fans of the series will love. Narrator has some minor issues (long pauses, etc.) at the beginning, and gets smoother the further you get into the book. Variety of voices were good, except it would have been nice if Seb and Calvin’s voices were more distinct from each other. Narrator shines when Seb is excited or upset.

A Treat for Fans

This collection of snippets and short stories is for fans and existing readers, and as a fan, I was grinning the whole time. I really enjoyed revisiting these characters and I'd forgotten how much I liked Seb and Calvin. I especially liked the glimpses that occur after the end of the series. Mostly these are filled with funny, snarky humor but there are tender moments as well. And Calvin... sigh. It makes me wish the author would write another full-length mystery for them.

The narration was great, and Wyatt Baker showcased Seb's sarcastic yet sometimes vulnerable tone perfectly. I don't know if it is harder to voice these types of anthologies, where there is such a short time to set the tone and pace of each piece, but this narrator does it extremely well.

If you like this series and these characters, this audio is definitely worth a credit. If you haven't read the Snow & Winter series yet, start at book 1 and then make sure to come back to this audio for a last enjoyable look at these guys!

Little bits of life

These short stories surrounding the everyday lives of Detective Calvin Winter and his fiancé/husband Sebastian Snow fills in the gaps of their relationship between the four Snow and Winter mysteries. Between C.S. Poe’s masterful writing and Wyatt Baker’s narration it is the perfect compliment to this writer’s fans. So good. Loved it.
