Publisher's Summary

This star system is burning down.

Seaman Jake Price's "betters" have failed the people of the Steele System, so he's taking matters into his own hands.

Darkstream has tricked the public into believing the Quatro are the enemy, but the company has already sold the system's security to the true enemy: the Progenitors.

Now, Jake is calling on everyone who remembers what it means to fight out of duty instead of money. If they can't stop Darkstream in time, the system will burn, and the inferno will consume everyone in it.

Get Infliction and experience the epic finale of this military thrill ride today.

Speechless !!!

Just finished listening to Infliction book 4 the last of the Mech Wars series written by the awesome Scott Bartletts creative mind and I’m really really totally speechless. There is so much that needs to be said about this extra ordinary masterpiece but I can’t find the words to describe how awesome of a creation was accomplished here which leaves me totally as I already said speechless. So all I’ll say is that Scott is one of the most talented author that I’ve in countered and Mark Boyett was the perfect choice in narrating those books. I fully and absolutely recommend this book and any of Scott Bartlett amazing books !!!

Great conclusion to Mech Wars Series

Reunited with Oneari Jake joins with his old friends and one very old friend from Hub. He learns of the Quattro assistance and warily embraces them in an alliance against Darkstream and the Progenitors. Oneari adds some new mech pilots and it seems like the team is finally whole again.

Top class sci-fi

Book 4 continues the series and is the same high standard as the previous books in the series, Fast paced and full of action, and yet still time for a little human interaction. Book 4 answers many questions posed previously, and yes raised more to be answered in future books.
YES I want to read/listen to the next book, and Scott is now on my to read list.

Mark Boyett does a wonderful narration in fact he's probably a perfect fit in.

I received a free copy of this audio book and have voluntarily left this honest review.
Highly recommend.

Good Military Science Fiction

This was a good conclusion to the Mech Wars series. Closed out the story well, and set the stage for the next series. Overall I enjoyed the series. It is good military science fiction, though with corporate military instead of a governmental military. I have yet to go back to the series that started the story, Ixan Prophecies, but will likely pick it up at some point in the future. Disclaimer: I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Mech's End

I am sad, that this was the final book. Oh, why is this the end!!!! This is an Amazing Mech story and Narration. Scott and Mark have created a wonder teaming of writing and narration, that truly brings you into the battle. Note at the time of this review Audible did not have chapter titles for this title. This book was provided free for review, however, these are my honest opinions and review.

Loved it

I loved this story, but the ending left me wanting more and I hate that. I want clean lines ending one series and beginning another.

Evil surfaces

The mech team must deal with the results of those who are working against the best interest of the humans. The true intentions of those who are running the government is brought out. The narration was great. This book was provided free of charge with the understanding that an honest review would be submitted.

Infliction

The final book in the Mech Wars series and we finally find out how things wrap up with Jake, Lisa, Rug and the rest. I won't lie, I had no idea how Scott was going to wrap this series up. More than halfway through the book and I didn't really know where we were going to end up. The action is all out again and we have battles between all factions and some of the seperated groups are reunited for the finale. I can't say much more as I really don't want to spoil it for anyone but it's certainly a must read for anyone who has read the first three books but even though this is the end of this series, don't think this is the end of the story! Mark Boyett again does a great job of narrating.
