Publisher's Summary

Rescued from captivity by a group of rather intimidating Kordolians, Noa finds herself recovering at a strange facility in the middle of the desert. SynCorp's medical experiments have left her with an impossible ability she can't control, and nobody really seems to know how to help her. She's fragile and shattered, a mere shadow of her former self, and she has nowhere else to go.

She doesn't know what to make of the Kordolians, especially when she can't stop their thoughts from leaking into her mind. The silver-skinned warriors are both terrifying and protective, and when she encounters a dark, mysterious presence in the most unlikely of places, she realizes that at least one of them might possess abilities similar to her own.

The question is, does this intimidating being intend to help her, or harm her?

Contains mature themes.

ok this is ridiculous

How does Ms Carven keep coming up with new ideas in this series. wow, I thought Rykal and Aren had an action packed romance but Noa and her man ...hoooweee what a great story. this starts to tie up the series, so even though we get a little side story with the next book I think the final novel will obviously finish the puzzle. however I cannot see Ms Carven just dribbling the finishing touches of Kithia, there will be a subplot and dark forces in their somewhere I'm sure....I hope.
Jillian, awesome as always.

Great Listen

Another edition in the Dark Planet Warriors series, this is the story of Ashrael, the imperial assassin captured by General Akkadian, and Noa, the telepathic human rescued from the secret lab in Into the Light the third book in the series. Noa finds herself recovering at a strange facility in the middle of the desert. SynCorp's medical experiments have left her with an impossible ability she can't control, and nobody really seems to know how to help her. She's fragile and shattered, a mere shadow of her former self, and she has nowhere else to go. Enter Ashrael who quickly finds her powers are much more than he bargained on when she puts him on his arse and temporarily unconscious. The sparks fly as they get to know each other and their bond is quickly formed and strengthens with time but, things take a sharp turn when they return to Kithia and I won't give any more of the plot away. I highly recommend this audio book and the series as a whole.
