Today, Susie speaks with author Justin Spring, a National Book Award finalist for his book Secret Historian: The Life and Times of Samuel Steward, Professor, Tattoo Artist and Sexual Renegade. This biography reveals a man who had more sex then anyone - over 700 lovers! Steward is also unique in that he kept sexual journals and catalogues of all of these encounters. He meticulously documented the sizes of his lovers' private parts and their shapes, and what sexual activities they engaged in. Justin and Susie talk about why sailors are the gayest of all armed forces and how Alfred Kinsey enlisted Steward to unofficially collaborate on his famous reports. When is being bisexual really more like being homosexual? They talk about that too.
