I was loving this story and looking forward to the end but it just stopped playing with 1 hr and 13 mins to go.😔.

I agree with all those readers who said they couldn’t stop listening. Compelling novel with great ending. It was so well written & the narrator was so skilful switching accents & so easy to listen to. It kept me captivated throughout the whole book.

Best thing about this book? Only a few characters make it easy to remember who is who and the plot itself is good - has some twists. But the pace is slow and far too drawn out. Unnecessary conversations that state the obvious, are speckled throughout. This novel could be halved to make an excellent tale.
