In una città mai nominata di un paese immaginario quattro giovani donne - Stella, Marida, Rosa e Iris - devono recuperare l'ultimo pagamento per una di quelle cene eleganti in villa, dal Presidente, che malauguratamente sono finite sui giornali deflagrando in scandalo. Il Presidente, cuor di leone, è sparito dietro a telefonini che non suonano e centralini che non si lasciano più scavalcare. Ma il Contabile - il millimetrico ragionier Biassoni - c'è ancora.
Sta, come sempre, nel suo ufficio a presidiare le buste con il contante, anche se non vuole consegnarle: aspetta da giorni l'autorizzazione che però non arriva. Ma con le ragazze è gentile, almeno all'inizio, e fa l'errore di aprire la porta. Stella, Marida, Rosa e Iris sanno nuotare velocemente nel mondo, quando serve, e stavolta serve. Di mestiere fanno le escort. Sanno essere molto gentili, se pagate. Altrimenti possono mordere, come fanno le murene.
