everytime I relisten to this it gets better! but this time was different...it's almost like Jeremy foretold the future....a pandemic...isolation of the public...mandatory vaccine....bluddy hell 😆

great book amazing story however I found it hard to keep up with the pace at the end and the fantastical abilities of the group. awesome overall. crazy.

JR is incredibly imaginative and knows how to tell a great story and develop awesome characters. I’ve enjoyed this and the first book and look forward to the rest if and when they come to audiobooks. I’ve read some less good reviews about the narration by Jeffrey Kafer. He’s got a strong reading voice and does pretty well with characters but yes there was an odd inflection in the first book that’s settled in the second. He’s actually quite good and to be fair no one comes near RC Bray (I think we’ve been a bit spoilt with RCB). I see the remaining audiobooks are not yet available. Looking forward to hearing more on the chess team, very cool.

I listened to this book first instead of Pulse because I like jungle stories and was instantly hooked. I also appreciated that the two main female characters were just as well-written as their male teammates
