Hvorfor får så mange en blodprop om mandagen? Kan man virkelig dø af grin? Ja, det kan man godt, men det er svært, til gengæld kan man dø af et sorgfuldt hjerte.
Over en halv million danskere lider af hjerte-kar-sygdomme. Vi dør ganske vist mindre af dem end for få år siden, men vi får dem stadig. Lever vi længe nok, bliver vi sikkert ramt, bliver vi en af de få, der slipper, har vi dog et hjerte og kilometervis af blodkar. Men hvordan de fungerer, ved kun de færreste. Det kaster I kredsløb om hjertet lys over.
