Wonderful audiobook

This is a helpful book because this is an audio book, you can use this just before sleeping to have a good sleep all you need to do is close your eyes, take a deep breath in and listen to this audio book.

Recommended!

Good techniques to relax and fall asleep

It really worked for me, it helped me relax and fall asleep right after. The program teaches you something new every day, but you also repeat what you previously learned. So you end up having a nice routine to put in practice when you can't sleep.

Put me into deep sleep

The author and narrator guides you through all the different stages including induction, deepening, and termination to complete a session.I found this audio book similar to a stress releasing therapy, one listen is as helpful as one session of stress releasing therapy.The good point about this audio book is it's length, it is not too long or not too short for a session.

This was the first "hypnosis" audio book

This was the first "hypnosis" audio book I purchased, and I absolutely love it. I fall asleep each and every time I listen to it, and I actually look forward to bedtime now because I know I'll fall asleep quickly. The only complaint I have is the same as a previous reviewers: Audible's own "You've been listening to Audible" at the end of the recording wakes me up every night.

Will help your calm yourself before sleep

My first impression was genuine surprise at how much of the incredibly short 30 minutes used no words and how slow the narration is. Surely this doesn't leave much room for content. And indeed it doesn't. Again: content isn't the goal. The calm, relaxing, reassuring non-judgmental narrator isn't trying to impart knowledge. Instead he brings you with his to a better, more tranquil place.This book could be a very good thing for me to revisit every now and again.

Finally... something that works consistently

Finally... something that works consistently. Listened a few nights in a row and was happy with the results. Deep sleep, happily waking up. Wireless earphones do the trick. I don't listen very loudly, don't need to, I'm asleep after a few mins anyway. Every time!!

I liked the after effects of this hypnosis

I liked the after effects of this hypnosis, which for me was a decreased appetite. It lasted more than 4 days before I had to listen to it again. It's lasted longer since then, which has helped me slim down.

Full of information!

Amazing

Great with exercise and diet!

Using visualization to achieve your desired weight, ugh... I'm not sure how much progress I'd make with just this method alone, but when paired with exercise and diet I can see how it might work to lower my stress level. The narrator did a great job providing a soothing sound for this visual meditation.

Great affirmation techniques

I have never tried any affirmations techniques but enjoyed this book. I'm tying to get a jump start on my New Year's resolution. The book was very quick. The narration was good and kept you engaged. Helpful for weight loss motivation

This audiobook was sent to me by a coworker who lost 15 pounds and has been keeping it off. I said, okay okay, do you have a personal trainer or something?? Bc I know we don't get paid that much. they sent me this audiobook and I've been listening to it, and I've started to see some changes in my mental habits. The way I think about food.
