Good book but it could’ve been longer or had a sequel. Was left wanting more

I didn't finish this book, despite it having a fair amount of potential. It just felt like there was a lot of story to tell that I didn't really find interesting. This is very subjective of course, so if you like these kinds of stories, give it a try.

I tried to return this book very early but was unable to - so continued to listen.
Very basic. Sounded almost like an AI produced story.
I’m sorry to say that the narrator was very ordinary too.
