A very transformative and thought provoking book.

To be honest, the narrator was a little hard and robotic initially but after an hour of listening and speeding up to 1.1 speed it was okay. The real surprise for me is how relatable each example and story is from a personal prospective in personal life and also work life. It became easy to see how much your work life and attitude can influence your home life as well. I will probably re-read this several times and definitely will buy a hard copy book of this for marking and reiterating.

If you are on the fence like I was for so long, just do it and I don't think you will ever regret listening to this book as long as you are open minded and want to experience the lessons being taught throughout this book.

    Informative and invaluable

It was narrated well and gave many practical and invaluable lessons and examples. If everyone applied just one of the principles from the book, the world would be a better place and much more enjoyable. Well worth listening to.

    LISTEN TO THE AUDIO SAMPLE

Without listening to the audio sample i found it hard to relate to the book as it is read in a monatone 1980's style.
Once getting past that, i found this book perfectly fitting of the topic at hand!

An old book but very effective to implement today

Very well read and although it's old, it still holds great strategies anyone can use in our everyday lives to improve ourselves and those around us.

    Ages like a fine wine

Despite the time this book was written the principals it teaches are fundamental in not only being a good businessman or salesman, but also a good person. Particularly in an age full of technology whereby there’s distraction and people are more self centred than ever, this book pushes the importance of being wary of other peoples motives, needs and emotion. A great read, no doubt I’ll probably read it again as a refresher in a year or two!

    Many hidden treasures

This book was recommended by my son’s counsellor, although he wouldn’t read it I did and become very aware of many communication skills forgotten that would enhance all my relationships, family, work, friends and intimate. Imagine if theses skills became our default, the world would look very differently. My relationship with my son does. Thank you 🙏

    Everyone should read this book

    At least twice.

    Ageless wisdom.

The manner of speach from an age gone by produces a nice nostalgia for a time not experienced.
