Story
Sell books the smart way. Five years ago releasing a book as an indie author meant uploading it, then begging everyone you knew to buy it. That method simply doesn't work anymore. Fortunately, there's a better way. Amazon has spent billions of dollars over the last decade building the world's best sales engine. They use machine learning to sell massive piles of books, and that engine is just waiting for you to tap into it. This is the book that will teach you how.

Obvious cash grab
Would you try another book from the authors and/or Al Kessel?
No.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Disappointment.
Any additional comments?
I did come away with maybe one thought, so I'll say the small amount I paid for it was OK.
"Done is better than perfect.", at least he practices what he preaches.

Only for the newest of writers
Would you try another book from the authors and/or Al Kessel?
They seem knowledgeable, so yes, i would be willing to try other books.
Has How to Not SUCK at Writing Your First Book turned you off from other books in this genre?
Its just another self/career help book.
What about Al Kessel’s performance did you like?
Fantastic reader.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
The only reaction this book invoked was that of "I wasted my money."
Any additional comments?
I do not advise buying this book unless you are completely new to the idea of writing a book and your main focus is nonfiction. There is absolutely nothing in this book that you cant find by doing a basic google search on how to write a book. Nothing. There are several parts where the authors claim to have "come up with" an idea, yet I have seen the same ideas littered across the internet. If last night you decided you wanted to write a book, then buy How to Not Suck. If you are not entirely new to the process then skip it for a something like Bird By Bird, On Writing or simply do a series of google searches.

Great Advice Wrapped in Tin Can Audio
What made the experience of listening to How to Not SUCK at Writing Your First Book the most enjoyable?
It's to the point. The author doesn't waste time with filler. After a reasonable introduction, they get right to the meat and potatoes of the book.
What other book might you compare How to Not SUCK at Writing Your First Book to and why?
The Scriptbully series.
What did you learn from How to Not SUCK at Writing Your First Book that you would use in your daily life?
Pretty much the whole system, hacked to my own personal needs and quirks of course.
Any additional comments?
This book offers great advice, but the audio quality jags on the ear. It sounds like they recorded it in a submarine at a low bit rate. I couldn't tolerate listing to it with my high quality noise-cancelling headphones, so I did it in my car during commutes to and from work. The less defined output of my car speakers (combined with road noise), made the listen a lot better. Worth the credit once I found a way I could tolerate the listen.
