Unleash the telepathic powers you were born with! Skeptical? I was, until I proved it to myself. You see, telepathic powers exist in all of us; they are part of the natural way we communicate with each other. Your brain beats at various frequencies, much like your heart. Usually your brain beats at 14 cycles per second, the Beta frequency. Very occasionally it beats between 7 and 14 cycles per second. This frequency is known as Alpha frequency. Alpha is the key to becoming telepathic.

Helped me learn to have OBE’s
I had spontaneous Obes throughout life and one or two consciously prior to reading this book. This book helped me to refine the process and gave direct technical methods to assist.
The methods may not be for everyone however, as they’re heavily reliant on visualisation. As someone that struggles with that, it took me about two years on and off to achieve an OBE with the help of this book.
Mad gratitude to Will Buhlman for this gem. Thank you for your work good sir

Buhlman fan
I've read one of Buhlman's books and really liked it
so when I saw this audio book, I was thrilled.
This audio book has great techniques that help relax the mind and body.
Normally any type of hypnotic recording works for me initially
but is less effective on subsequent plays. The Buhlmam
recordings work every time. The visualization techniques seem
to work when I'm listening to them on the audio, less effective
when I try them without the audio. Although I've not been able to consistently have
Out of Body Experiences (OBE) thanks to Buhlman I know how to
react when I do have the experience.

I loved this audio book!
I have some of W. bulhman's books & just had to have this audio.although I have had several o.b.e's prior to reading his material. He has very good techniques! If you just put headphones on and listen to this nightly or while napping you will have an o.b.e.
Honestly..You can go ANYWHERE!
The two most memorable adventures I have had are Heaven, and Turkey.
I learned , that as soon as you re-enter your body, lay there with your eyes closed & go over every detail. Then IMMEDIATLY.. get up and write or type it down! It is an experience you will never want to forget! And YES.. I did write down my entire journey's in detail!
I am considering writting a book of my own in the future!

Perfect Book For Those Pursuing an OBE
This book was amazing and is a must "hear" for those who have either had a spontaneous OBE and want to know more about it or those attempting to have an OBE for the first time. This book will get you on your way to understanding what the Out of Body Experience is all about and goes through several techniques and methods of initiating the OBE. The author is the narrator, which I personally love. He knows his material and is able to express personal experiences and stories in a way a regular narrator would not be able to. This is his book and his experiences and I feel we are lucky to have the opportunity to share them.

Scientifically written,spiritual yet not religious
If you could sum up How to Have an Out of Body Experience in three words, what would they be?
Extraordinarily simple
What was one of the most memorable moments of How to Have an Out of Body Experience?
That someone could explain an OBE in such simple terms
Have you listened to any of William Buhlman’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Yes, I had heard a few podcasts.
This one puts all techniques in one place. Very handy.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, absolutely
Any additional comments?
I bought a few other OBE / astral travel books before. Some had religious tones, required you to believe into things. I want to KNOW, not just believe. Others had incomplete guidance.
Author has done a very good job with this audiobook. I give 5 stars.
This book has different chapters dedicated to different techniques. Usually, one technique would resonate with listener's being. Author himself suggests listening through the whole book, and select the technique you feel most comfortable with. But it is not possible to separate one technique with this audiobook. This is the only gripe I have.
CONS:
I cannot take out one chapter and play it just once. If I fall asleep during the guided meditation (which you are supposed to do), the recording will continue to play through all chapters, or else loop in the same chapter over and over again.

Informative & covers a lot of territories
Would you listen to How to Have an Out of Body Experience again? Why?
Yes I'd listen again to help recall some of the important points about various relaxation techniques to induce obes, as well as how to control my spiritual self once I come out.
What did you like best about this story?
I loved that he covered so much unknown territory. The most fascinating parts were the limitless freedom & knowledge we can access out of our physical bodies, as well as the spiritual control we have, & that nothing can harm us there.
Which scene was your favorite?
My favorite part was probably where he talks about our ability to explore our complete present life's history from any perspective, as well as our past lives!
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
My most extreme reaction to this book was that it explained so many useful, creative &, unexpected ways to use this ability. It actually made me much more determined to pursue access this spiritual world, which I haven't been able to do on a conscious level yet. (this book made my current INability much more frustrating lol)
Any additional comments?
This book contains many valuable tips I never would have thought of. So it's worth listening to again!:)) BUT his hypnosis chapters did NOTHING to help me. It's probably my own fault for having such a scattered mind & poor relaxation habits.

Nothing new here...
The book consists of a series of what are essentially guided relaxation exercises rather than more specific, helpful instructions on attaining an authentic out-of-body experience. The author's vague comments on his own experiences, which almost seem indistinguishable from more prosaic nighttime dream states, are uninteresting and not in any way instructive. I was very disappointed by this work and can see why the price was so dramatically reduced.
The experience was akin to that of rubberneckers at an accident scene being told by police, "Nothing here, folks - move on." It's little more than yawnworthy.

Painfully repetitive, but some great concepts
Is there anything you would change about this book?
Certain phrases were repeated way too many times... to the point it was painfully distracting from the otherwise profound underlying message. It was worth the listen, however.
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
Some examples were great. Technique ideas were excellent.
Did William Buhlman do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
n/a
Was How to Have an Out of Body Experience worth the listening time?
Yeah, I'll concede that.
Any additional comments?
Probably should have had a couple more objective editors. The narrator sounded like he was giving a presentation or live talk.

Wishing for Out of Body
Wishing I was out of body so I didn't have to hear this drivel.
OK obviously I give the possibility of an out of body experience credibility, because I bought this book.
The subject matter itself I have no conflict with. It's these guys who present their experiences and theories In a "I just got off the spaceship" fashion.
I do not doubt that Bulhman has experienced something. But much of his presentation of the subject matter is like a "Carni" sideshow hypnosis routine. And if I'm going to be hypnotized into believing that I'm leaving my body, am my actually leaving my body, or am I just being given a suggestion of that?
For once I'd like to hear a theory in a scientific format, as to what is possibly happening during this mind state that allows for this perceived out of body experience.
Bulhman uses terminology without any definition. He repeats himself continuously, over, and over, and over again to the point where you want to pull your hair out.
There are a lot of books that I really want to hear on Audible that Audible does not have. This kind of book,
I would gladly ask Audible to remove so that we can all hear something much more entertaining and informative.
Mr. Bulhman I'm sorry but good gosh!!

Useful and Interesting
Would you listen to How to Have an Out of Body Experience again? Why?
The book is a mixture of personal stories and guided hypnosis. I have listened to the thing a few times including at night during sleep as the voice narrating (the author’s) is very soothing.
What was one of the most memorable moments of How to Have an Out of Body Experience?
A few of the stories he tells about his own experience are very interesting, and these give rise to suggestions for things one can get up to whilst travelling out of the body – for example meeting with deceased loved ones or overcoming fears. The stories on both these were intriguing and I’ve garnered some ideas from these.
Which scene did you most enjoy?
I enjoyed extracting ideas on what to do whilst out of body – I came away with five suggestions on this from the book:
Meeting with deceased loved ones
Giving healing to others and to oneself
Overcoming fears and meeting ones higher self
Visiting far away places and past lives
Overcoming the vibration state to travel into other dimensions
Any additional comments?
This book is useful for those who want to delve more deeply into the world of out of body experiences.
The personal stories on what happened to the author whilst out of body are inspiring and interesting.
The meditations are useful and relaxing.

Did I dream this
Would you try another book written by William Buhlman or narrated by William Buhlman?
I thoroughly enjoyed listening to William Buhlman's voice soothing and exactly right for meditation. As for trying another book he may have written well at the moment I think not. I am not needing a sleeping draught at the moment
What was most disappointing about William Buhlman’s story?
The actual content of the audio book well I am still trying to work that one out. I have an avid interest in meditation and powers of the mind but as yet this audio was just a good way to help me sleep.
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
The narrator was excellent. He does not need to improve
Do you think How to Have an Out of Body Experience needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?
No follow up please one bedtime story is enough in anyone's lifetime
Any additional comments?
I am not having a go at the concept of this book as I am a believer it just did not resonant with me, nor did I fly away, up, down I just slept
