Publisher's Summary

Analyzing people at first glance is natural. We all do it, and there is no point in denying it. Through instinct and experience, some people are better in this process than others. This is also undeniable. However, science and research have made it possible to learn a few ways to make sure the analyses we make of the people we meet for the first time are not based only on instinct and experience but also on undeniable scientific facts.

How to Analyze People has the purpose of presenting those ways to the general public, to explain them and to point out the necessity of incorporating them into our way of sizing up people and drawing our conclusions about them. Many texts speak only about the ways of observing the eyes. Other texts refer to the body language or "nonverbal communication", as it has become to be known. A few more texts refer to how the pitch and intonation of a voice carries out the messages.

These are all gathered up in one audiobook so that the total sum of the observations that need to be made in order to make our analysis as correct as possible and draw a correct conclusion out of it is brought to common knowledge in the hopes of avoiding misunderstandings and unnecessary emotional outbreaks that may lead to unfortunate and regrettable actions - actions that are unbecoming to a modern and peaceful society.

basic

This is probably great for somebody new to body language material but for all others this contains material which is rehashed . Also it sprints through topics such as Micro expressions. Again stating eye movements with potential meaning and not pointing out a driving factor such as a person's hand preference that is are they left or right handed shows just how rushed this book is.

Tried this audible book for a reason!

I hate my boss and he always gives me stress, there are times I doesn't understands him at all and why he do those stupid things. I heard from a friend that there is a way to analyze or read people's mind and so I look up in the internet and since I'm too lazy to read I ended up giving this audible book a try and it turns out great. I am now equipped with good knowledge on how I can analyze and understand my boss and try to manipulate him.

A great way to learn how to read people's mind.

I've always been very interested in psychology and human behavior; I'm also a TV writer, so it's great to have a basic knowledge now that I can build on by reading other/more books on the subject. Since each personality type has unique characteristics and areas of focus, for me, it is important to understand how to connect with each type to establish more fulfilling relationships. I really got so much new, interesting and important information on all my questions. I liked this audible and would recommend it for those who are interested in this topic and need more information about this.

Learning how to read minds.

Any additional comments?

This is a concise and insightful guide to analyzing the people in your life whether friends, family members, or just acquaintances. Although I'm not sure if I can apply what I've learned from this book to myself I think it is still a good idea to listen to this book as you will learn tons of good stuff.
