Whilst the first book in the series made me almost stop listening because it takes a long time to really get started. I’m so glad I continued to listen because it just got better and better.
The narrator was absolutely brilliant and really made me enjoy the characters and the story more giving it real spark and making me laugh out loud, as she portrayed Fallon perfectly.

Can’t believe this series i’d never seen or heard of before was so good. Wish there was more of it. There’s a part of the story that cut off for me. It was only a second.

How did this manage to finish on a cliffhanger without it being a cliffhanger!!! I still need to know so much more!
But seriously though like the other this book was amazing. I love how Fallon has grown as a character so much since her naive needy self in the first book. Her fear feels real as she still questions things and is tricked and manipulated but it's something that could happen to anyone. She's strong and stubborn and fights back. And Lore well as protective as he is, I do wish he believed in Fallon a little more than he does.
I listened to this on audible and may or may not have been driving whilst bawling my eyes out at points so that's automatically 5 stars!
Olivia has done a great job of giving all the characters a unique personality that makes the story feel full and well thought out.
The plot was wild but fairly easy to follow. And like the other books the worldbuilding was well presented.

FMC makes the most mind numbing decisions that it’s hard to push through for the rest of the story. MMC for the hundreds of years he has on her makes the pettiest comments he’s no better than her. Story concept is great but the FMC lost me
