Publisher's Summary

A missing husband. A suspicious obituary. She’s not the only one hunting down a dead man’s footsteps.

As a divorcee, Angelina Bonaparte knows firsthand the lengths some men will go to escape responsibility. When a worried mother wants the private investigator to track down her missing husband, she’s eager to bring the deadbeat dad to justice. But even after she discovers the man’s obituary, she refuses to believe it until she sees the body. Tracking down the nurse who last saw him alive could be the missing puzzle piece to her client's broken family.

But as she digs deeper, she realizes there’s something darker at play than dodging child-support payments. And she may not be the only one hunting the man down. To close the case and reunite her client's family, she must track down the missing husband without falling prey to the same ruthless hunter.

We love Angelina Bonaparte;a smart, spunky detective always willing to help those in need.

Kieren Calland Metts did a great job capturing the essence of the characters.

Book 3

I loved this book. This is book 3 in the Angie Bo-nah-par-tay series. I love these books. Nanci Rathbun does a wonder job of narrating this series. Angelina is a wonderful character and I can't wait to read book 4 in the series when it comes out.

Family ties...

Once again, Nanci Rathbun has given us a solid mystery. What starts out as trying to track down a missing person turns into so much more! More characters are introduced into Angelina’s circle and I hope to see further developments of these relationships in future books.

I’m happy that Kieran Calland Metts has returned to narrate... I can’t imagine anyone else voicing Angelina Bonaparte.

I’ll be anxiously awaiting the next book in the series!

DON’T MISS IT!

HONOR KILLS is the third book in the Angelina Bonaparte Mystery series. They should be read in the order or release.

There was a snafu with the audible codes and I didn’t want to miss the third book in this tour, so I purchased it. I’m glad I did.

There is some confusion because at times it is said that Hank has been missing for six years and Angelina has been searching for him for six years. Other times, it is said that it has been sixty months. Sixty months is five years. Once again, my math brain interferes with the literary side of life. Ah, well. Set that aside.

The story itself is fabulous with a capital F. It is suspenseful and I loved it. The twisted path that leads Angie to her own father for counsel is not to be missed!

The story is extremely well written and well plotted out. Ms. Rathbun kept me on the edge of my seat through the whole thing, but also had me giggling in plenty of places. It was the perfect way to enjoy a book.

I am so excited! After the story is over, the announcement is made that there is another book coming in this wonderful series. BLOOD KILLS will release in the spring!

Narration: Kieren Callan Metts absolutely nailed it once again! I love listening to her tell a story. Thank you for another enjoyable week of commuting.

Great detective story!

Honor Kills is the 3rd book in the Angelina Bonaparte Mysteries but it stands alone. I have loved each book in the series and this one is no exception. Again, I really enjoyed the quotes that begin each chapter. This time Angie investigates a missing person with ties to the Mafia. It is an extremely satisfying read and nicely narrated. Please write more and continue the series! I was gifted a copy of the audiobook in exchange for an honest review.

Sassy and Spicy

I love the lead character, Angela Bonaparte! She reminds me of my grandma with the spiky blond hair and full of energy and carunyas. Although this is book 3 of the series, there is enough information in it that this can be a stand alone and you can pick up the back pieces pretty quick. I love how Nanci Rathbun, uses the same characters in each of her books, so you are learning to like or dislike them as they are described. Kieren Metts did a great job narrating this book, as she did the other 2 books and I am sure will be narrating book 4, due out in the Spring. Kieren does a great job with the voices of each character and there is no mistaken who is "speaking"

Fun mystery

The 3rd novel in the Angelina Bonaparte series, and they keep getting better. I really enjoyed the story, but what I love even more about Nanci Rathbun's books is the world building. Rathbun peppers in the small details that elevate it from a story to a fully fleshed world. It makes the story real in a way that you can feel and hear.

Thee voice acting is also very well done. The narrator helps keep the story going and is a real pleasure to listen to.

Honor Kills by Nancy Rathbun

Another excellent mystery by this author. The book is full of humor as well as excitment. Can she save a young mother from the mob and can she save herself? Can she keep the man she loves in her life or will she lose him? The book is narrated by Kieran Calland Metts who is a superb narrator. Her voice is a pleasure to listen to. I highly recommend this book.

I Love this series, and every book gets better!

Well I am in mourning after finishing the third audiobook chronicling the adventures Angelina Bonaparte private Detective, and heroine to this woman of a certain age. Book three starts innocuous enough with Bobbie doing a check on the Marcy Wagner case and finding an obituary in a newspaper. Angelina has been searching for any trace of Hank of over 5 years when he walked out on his wife and family. This case is mentioned in first two books in passing
Nothing is what it seems, and before we know it Angie is in the middle of a murder and betrayal. As usual Angie and friends and family connections all rally around to help Marcy get the answer she had been waiting for. I’m now in mourning until book four comes out.

I received this audiobook as part of my participation in a blog tour with Audiobookworm Promotions. The tour is being sponsored by Nanci Rathbun. The gifting of this audiobook did not affect my opinion of it
