Simply Brilliant

The Tillerman children are so natural, so brave, so resourceful in their struggle to survive the tragedy that caused them to be alone. It is written so well that it is gripping for both children and adults. The questions from our grandchildren indicated they were suddenly realising that not everyone has a happy Homelife and two loving parents. It presents the opportunity to discuss resourcefulness, honesty, loyalty and risk.

A true classic

I remembered this book as one I couldn’t put down when I first read it about age 10. I read it again and it was still just as good.
