'Tis the season to join Cat and Bones for some holiday cheer in this Night Huntress novella by USA Today and New York Times best-selling author Jeaniene Frost.

They were looking forward to a normal holiday - at least as "normal" as it gets for vampires Cat and Bones and their otherworldly friends and family. Bones has a brother! Whoa!

This is a very quick listen. As with all novella they have to jump in, get to the action and resolve fast. Its a solid listen. Other than the brother thing, we don't learn too much. I usually am not a fan of point-five listens, but this one passes muster. Nail this one on the way to work.

YES IT'S SHORT...... BUT BOY DOES IT PACK A PUNCH

It's great to get another slice of what's been happening in Bones and Cat's Vampire lives (or deaths)..... even if it is just a brief visit it's still so wonderfully worthwhile. Bones is happily celebrating his birthday (which is weeks before Xmas) when suddenly there's a phone call and the trouble starts from there but it's when he's introduced to someone new that things really get scary for them.

It may only be 3.5 hrs long but boy does it pack a lot in.... there's drama, angst, humor, demons, a good v evil battle, heartbreak, romance and even sex during a life or death struggle as another entity forces the pair to risk everything in order to save themselves..... and some of there friends too.

Worth a credit? If, like me, you're a fan of this series then I'm sure you'll agree that it's just great to rejoin the Night Huntress much loved characters which were all beautifully portrayed by Tavia Gilbert's talented narration whose voice brings this series to life. I don't usually like or listen to short stories but getting a new book in this series is like getting a gift and it's one I'd have happily used a credit on but at under $10 I bought it and saved my credit for a longer, more expensive, but maybe not as enjoyable and exciting a listen.

Holidays... who needs them!

Vampires, holidays, demons, oh my!

This is a quick story with some of our favorites from this series. The holidays are approaching and with big plans to celebrate family and friends comes.... someone from the last, a demon and a whole mess of trouble. It’s up to Cat, Ian and a prayer to get them all
Out of this in one piece.

It was a fun ride... but holy flying vampires, I was worried for a minute.

WOW!!

The novella Home for the Holidays is book 6.5 in the Night Huntress series. The audiobook is only 3 hours and 32 minutes long so it is a quick listen. I loved this novella and didn’t want to turn it off. In this story, a long lost relative no one knew about shows up, and when this stranger arrives, weird stuff starts happening. Suddenly, our favorite vampires, including one of the most powerful vampires in existence, are facing a threat unlike no other before and this time, they are on the losing side. Can Cat and Ian work together to save all of their family and friends before it is too late?

I love this series so much. I have been binging each book back to back for the past two weeks. I don’t know what I will do once this series is over. I am starting book 7 now and that is the final book in the series. There is a 7.5, but that is just full of outtakes and deleted scenes from the series so it doesn’t count as a continuation of the series. I will still read it right away and also read the prequel book 0.5 that was released after the series started, but the next book will end the series and I’m really sad about that. This is a series that I will definitely re-read and re-listen to. I recommend it highly.

Fangtastic!

Rating: ❤❤❤❤❤
Heat Rating: 🔥🔥🔥
Narrator Performance: 🎧🎧🎧🎧🎧

This was fangtastic! The secrets that were revealed were mind blowing. Once I started this novella I couldn't stop listening to it. Frost is clearly a master at weaving a tale that grabs your attention and doesn't let go until the last word.

Tavia Gilbert gave a spectacular performance as usual. She is absolutely amazing IMO. Every character has their own voice and their different personalities always come out as she gives a performance that will lead you to adore her.

Hip Hip Hurray! A Holiday Huntress Book!

I love when my favorite series have a holiday novella. And this one is so perfect. This series is one of the most amazing paranormal romance series. The couple has hot chemistry and the intriguing world that surrounds them is absolutely compelling. Each secondary character just adds to the story.

Brilliant as Always

Jeaniene frost is always a great listen, this story fits in between one of the night huntress novellas so only listen if you already know the previous ones otherwise you are going to be totally confused and it explains some of the stuff mentioned in the next book.
As always the narrator is brilliant and captures all the characters perfectly especially bones, and the story has a lovely flow to it.

The story is of cat & bones celebrating a Xmas with friends (those of the main group of bones's line) and "family". A mysterious guest comes to the Xmas celebrations with troublesome consequences following, causing at several emotion scenes especially when bones nearly kills cat!! So moving!!! Despite I am aware there was another book after this I still questioned whether the whole gang is able to survive it? So I am not going to give anymore away ..... Hurry up and find somewhere quiet so that you can listen to this relatively short story (compared with others in series) and go on an emotional roller coaster of tear, laughter and held breath in dubious expectation!
