Holzdiebstahl ist kein Kavaliersdelikt. Das weiß auch Tobias Wennerscheid. Der Landwirt liegt seit Jahren mit einem benachbarten Bauern im Clinch und hat diesen in Verdacht regelmäßig bei ihm Holz zu klauen. Nur auf frischer Tat erwischt hat er Bauer Menges nicht. Noch nicht! Doch Wennerscheid gibt nicht auf.
Stephan Everling wurde 1963 in Bonn geboren und ist freier Mitarbeiter in der Lokalredaktion Euskirchen beim Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger. Außerdem schreibt er Kriminalromane und Kurzgeschichten mit Tatort in der Eifel. Charakteristisch dabei ist der schwarze Humor, der sich durch viele seiner Geschichten zieht.
