Russo didn't have to act. He knew the mob inside and out: from his childhood in Little Italy, where Mafia legend Frank Costello took him under his wing, acting as messenger for New Orleans mob boss Carlos Marcello during the Kennedy assassination, to being forced on the lam after shooting a member of the Colombian drug cartel in his Vegas club.

I loved every minute of this book. I found listening to gianni narrating his story at times made me feel like I was there. It was fantastic and I was sad when it ended I was left wanting to hear more. Thank you gianni I hope your children get to hear your story

wow does this guy know how to tell his story this was so captivating I'm so glad I came here to learn more after Gianni went on djvlad for an interview and told a small part of the story

best story I've heard on here so far

The story and the way it’s written is fantastic however the narration sounds like it’s was written by someone else (which it is) and is being read by Gianni Russo as though he’s reading a book report in class. While the story and book overall is great, it would be better if it was narrated in the same way as he tells it in interviews etc. in his natural and fun way of speaking. I absolutely recommend this book though.

Young Gianni, like most in his profession, tends to embellish his life stories, but in all Hollywood Godfather by Gianni is a good read (listen).
I actually downloaded Hollywood Godfather in error as there are two books with the same title but do not regret doing so.
I listen to it all in 2 days and found it entertaining.

Entertaining, Spicy and very Hollywood.....narcissistic, but ...........

I really enjoyed this book.
Don't know if it's entire content is absolutely true, however, it's completely enjoyable and enthralling from the beginning to the end.

This book encouraged me to watch the movie, The Godfather, well i now understand why i haven't been bothered to watch it before now. This book does not seem to have much body to it is all over the place and hard to get interested in.
