I loved this book so much. The way Townsend sets it all up without it seeming like development in the boring way it’s known for.

Her writing is captivating and puts yourself in Morrigans shoes without questioning her decisions until she does.

If I had to describe her work in minimal words, I would say “engrossing, captivating and a work of sheer brilliance” all words that mean basically the same thing, amazing.

I don’t mean to pressure on you Jessica but people are kinda loving your work. Get your next book out ASAP!!

You’d think that the 3rd book in a series is not going to be as good as the others. However, hollopox completely defies those thoughts! What an amazing journey! I love the way it reflects on the current situations facing the world. I’ve read it 3 times already! So good!!!

I decided to reread the Nevermoor series since its been years since I'd read the first and second (and a while since I read this when it came out). I was once again enthralled by how wonderful this story is and how much I am filled with childlike wonder every time I enter this world. I am so desperate for book four, and devasted I'll be waiting until late September 2023 now.
(Also, I definitely meant to spell wonderful that way. Anyone who's read the books will get it !)

This book is so creative and intellectual, Jessica Townsend has done it again. Gemma Whelan is so amazing at stepping into each of the characters, I look forward to hearing another book from this pair.

I really love this series. I’ll be controversial and say it’s possibly better than Harry Potter! I can’t wait for the next one to come out in April.

This was considerably darker than the first two in the series. It’s possibly no coincidence that it’s about a seemingly incurable disease that came from an enemy country, while being written during the height of COVID. It managed to be fun and exciting, while being a devastatingly sad fable about illness, racism, lockdowns, caring for friends and family, etc.

Four green eyes out of five.
