Publisher's Summary

Morrigan Crow and her friends have survived their first year as proud scholars of the elite Wundrous Society, helped bring down the nefarious Ghastly Market and proven themselves loyal to Unit 919. Now Morrigan faces a new, exciting challenge: to master the mysterious Wretched Arts of the Accomplished Wundersmit and control the power that threatens to consume her.

Meanwhile, a strange and frightening illness has taken hold of Nevermoor, turning infected Wunimals into mindless, vicious Unnimals on the hunt. As victims of the Hollowpox multiply, panic spreads. There are whispers - growing louder every day - that this catastrophe can only be the work of the Wundersmith, Ezra Squall.

But inside the walls of Wunsoc, everyone knows there is a new Wundersmith - one who's much closer to home. With Nevermoor in a state of fear and the truth about Morrigan threatening to get out, the city she loves becomes the most perilous place in the world. Morrigan must try to find a cure for the Hollowpox, but it will put her - and everyone in Nevermoor - in more danger than she could have imagined.

You must be an oracle

Jessica Townsend you are amazing. I just love
your books and I am so hopeful we see movies down the track. I know you had your story for this book sorted ages ago but it is a bit COVID 19 eerie. I am now about to listen for the second time in case I missed anything!! Fantastic!!

Fantastically Wunderful!

Another Wunderful story from Jessica Townsend, that did not disappoint. Excitement and intrigue culminated in a satisfying ending. I am waiting with bated breath for the next installment of the Wundersmith. Another great performance by Gemma Whelan, too!

Absolutely Amazing!

You’d think that the 3rd book in a series is not going to be as good as the others. However, hollopox completely defies those thoughts! What an amazing journey! I love the way it reflects on the current situations facing the world. I’ve read it 3 times already! So good!!!

OMG i love this

I loved this book so much. The way Townsend sets it all up without it seeming like development in the boring way it’s known for.

Her writing is captivating and puts yourself in Morrigans shoes without questioning her decisions until she does.

If I had to describe her work in minimal words, I would say “engrossing, captivating and a work of sheer brilliance” all words that mean basically the same thing, amazing.

I don’t mean to pressure on you Jessica but people are kinda loving your work. Get your next book out ASAP!!

terrific!!

Ok. There is no possible way Townsend could have predicted 2020 so closely!
a weird new illness, lockdowns, quarantines, protests, curfews. I am shook.

I love this series and the whole world of Nevermoor and all the colorful characters!! this time round we got introduced to the basement needs who I want to join.

Previously we have had an indication that the hotel Deucalion is somewhat concious but now we know it is entirely sentient and I want more of that please.

nervous about the ending and what it will mean moving forward but excited none the less!!

Wonderful

The narrator is excellent. The whole family enjoyed this, and the other 2 books in the series, immensely.

Great book, but slow start.

Seems like a lot of back story to cover things if you haven’t read the others, but finished strong. Whole family is looking forward to the next one.
