Publisher's Summary

Adam Hughes keeps overcommitting, but this time he's committed both himself and Drake Knowles to something beyond anything they've ever experienced before. Drake has never really contemplated being a parent until Boyd and Ben come into their lives. He's amazed at how awesome they all get along and how rewarding parenting is.

Then all hell breaks loose when Boyd and Ben's father shows up. Will Adam and Drake be able to prove they are the perfect parents for the boys, or will they lose the two kids who have become their heart and soul just as the Christmas season gets into full swing?

blended family of the heart

Outstanding life lessons for all the characters. Negatives turned into positives and truth and support. This was heartbreaking and gutwrenching. At times. I despaired for them all. What a sweet twist. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job with voices and expressions bringing it to life.

Good holiday story

This is a cute holiday short story. Not only is this a holiday story but also a wedding. I enjoyed the characters. I think the story flowed good. Again I think narrator Scott Smith brings the story to life. There is a lot packed into this short story.

4.25 stars

Audible review... lovely voice, nicely read Book review... Pretty sure this is my favorite of the series! A rush wedding and two runaway boys make for a crazy holiday. Trying to blend themselves into a family while dealing with several issues makes for a great story. ***** POV... third person Standalone or series... book 4 in series. Only book 1 needs to be read before this one. Hangover... no Recommend... sure Reread... sure

delightful

Would I listen to it again: yes Did the story keep me engaged: yes Was I invested in the characters: yes Story comment: good pace, likeable characters and a sweet low angst "Hallmark movie" type story.... i just want it longer 😊 Narrator comment: I enjoyed Scott R. Smith's narration and think he's done a good job narrating Holiday Emergencies. I had no problem distinguishing characters and the rhythm, inflections and intonations all worked to bring the book to life.

Sweet Story

It was great to see Adam and Drake again as well as seeing their family form. The thing I love about York’s tales are that they are sweet and cheery, and low angst, I love all types of stories and knowing what I’ll get with York is comforting.

So sweet and filled with hope

This has been my favorite in the series thus far! Since you know the main characters, time was not needed to flesh them out, and the author could just dive into the story... and what a story! This one just flowed to listen to, and the story kept you engaged and hoping everyone ends up happy.

Perfect Ending to a Great Series!!!

I love that we get to revisit Drake & Adam's relationship. This story was heartwarming, touching and dynamic. I adored the addition of Ben & Boyd. Drake & Adam just jumped right in and did whatever they could to provide a home for the boys. My heart broke for the boys and the terrible treatment from their father/ past. I wish I could give 10+ stars for this story, I can't gush enough. If you want to grab any book in this series and can't decide, just get this one. You can catch up on Drake's and Adam's relationship at a later date! Love, Love, Love and THANK YOU SCOTT for being an amazing narrator and bringing all these characters to life and letting us (the readers) feel like we are part of their lives!!! I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

A Christmas Feel Good

Drake and Adam have so much love to give and this new role suits them 100% (book 1 is at least recommended before listening). Scott R Smith was amazing as always with the narration of the story. Hope there is more to come from Sara York in this series. This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

Holiday Emergencies

I really enjoyed this MM romance. When Adam and Drake take in two boys, all of their lives change for the better. They all find a family.
