Publisher's Summary

Delivering inspiration and "parenting comedy at its finest" (The Huffington Post), here is one woman's story of ditching her fairy-tale dreams and falling in love with her unpredictable, chaotic, imperfect life.

Kristina Kuzmic has made herself a household name, speaking directly to mothers from the trenches of parenthood via her viral videos and social media presence. She is now bringing her message of self-acceptance, resilience, and joy to audiobook listeners. With a refreshingly unpretentious, funny, and galvanizing voice, Kuzmic goes behind the scenes to reveal how she went from broke and defeated to unshakably grounded and brimming with thankfulness.

Illuminating the hard-won wisdom from a life always spent one step behind - whether it was as a high school student new to America, a suddenly single mother to two kids, remarried and juggling two teens and a toddler, or the unexpected recipient of Oprah's attention and investment - Hold On, But Don't Hold Still is the audiobook every mother needs to reassure her that she's not only fine just as she is, but that she already has more tools and support than she can possibly imagine. Sparkling with wit, this heartfelt memoir is like a long coffee date with a best friend, or the 11th-hour text message that gives you just the boost you need to get through the night.

Fabulous!

Kristina, I don't even know how to begin to write my review. This book has come at just the right time in my personal journey as a mum. Many of the struggles you mentioned have been part of my experience too. I love how kindness and love is intricately woven into your parenting; it's very important in our family too.

I highly recommend this book for all parents. You'll laugh out loud, cry and nod in agreement more times than you can count. I could barely put it down!

Thank you!!

Soul satisfying spirit strengthening feel-good!

Soul satisfying spirit strengthening feel-good book: The triumph and struggles are real and very relatable. I'm not a mother, nor married or a chef and I loved it! I highly related to her empathic personality type, her high value for self development, openness, resilience, hope, faith, creating deep meaningful relationships, her desire to share her lessons and love, and her intention to create a legacy.

This could easily be a self-help book about growing wiser and better, except that it feels like a novel, thanks to her fun storytelling skills.

Very enjoyable audio: Kristina reads it with such passion and clarity. You enjoy so much more than what the words tell you, it really adds a 4th dimension to the story.

It was sad to be on the last chapter, I didn't want it to finish, or at least, only if she had written a second book. Kristina, I hope you show up for a second book 😉, & thank you!

I've already recommended it to so many friends, including my mother who loved it.

Highly recommend to ANY parent!!

Thoroughly enjoyed this book! Didn’t know much about the author however this is honest, raw in spots, really funny and also kind. No lecturing, no ‘I know best’ just really stories and real advice.

Thank you for touching on the good, bad, fun, ugly parts of parenting. I really enjoyed this book. I laughed, I cried and now I'm sad because it's over
