Publisher's Summary

A full-length STANDALONE romantic comedy from USA TODAY best-selling author R.S. Grey.

I've spent eight years wishing I'd fall out of love with Derek Knightley. Blowing out birthday candles, chasing after shooting stars, making it rain spare change into mall fountains - every time it's the same wish: Forget about Derek.

But the day he walks back into my life, I realize there are two things time has yet to soften: my feelings for him and his chiseled jawline.

It's infuriating that my heart still races when he walks into a room. I refuse to fall prey to old unrequited love, so I decide the less I'm around him, the better. Avoidance is key.

Unfortunately, Derek isn't going to make it easy. As a teenager, I would have crawled on my hands and knees to attract his attention. Now I can't seem to escape it.

I'm not sure why he's bothering. He's not just out of my league - he's out of my tax bracket. As the sole heir to the Knightley Company, he's as close to American royalty as you can get. As for me, I'm just a part-time princess at Knightley's flagship magical theme park.

I spend my days playing make-believe, but Derek has no use for fairytales. His unwavering confidence makes it clear he thinks I'll surrender in the end.

He's just biding his time.

Making me sweat.

His Royal Highness always gets what he wants.

And he wants me.

Hysterically lighthearted!!!

This was an endearing heartfelt romantic comedy. I laughed and felt the frustration of the characters throughout the entire book. If not for the very few slightly explicit love scenes and words, it would would be perfect for all ages!!!

Can’t say enough!

Loved this book so much on the page. The audio version brought it even more to life. The narrators were fabulous. RS Grey’s characters always have fantastic wit in their dialogue and these narrators delivered that wit perfectly. Thoroughly enjoyed this book again. It will be a favorite that’s listened to over and over again!

Cute story.

This story was really cute with depth, but minimal angst. The narration was fantastic. If you’re looking for something realistic and sweet, this is it.

Self Involved Princess Wannabe

This is what I imagine a 15 year old thinks romance, being an adult, and love should be. I’ve read worse, but not many

A FUN Fairytale

If your romance genre is paranormal , romantic suspense, sports or lots of angst, definitely skip this one. But, if you like adorable characters (all of them), smart cute banter, and great inner dialogue, you might just love this book as much as I did. First, it’s set in a fairytale park. Come on, what’s a better place for romance than one of those “happiest places on earth”? Then throw in Whitney and Derrick who are 2 of the most likable people on earth (who are both intelligent) and you have a love story that is begging to be read. I loved this book and I’m not apologizing for that. And for those who can’t go without, there are even sex scenes. They’re not “raunchy” but they certainly get the point across. I’m not a “theme park” person but I would have loved to work at this one..

Heroine with the mind of a 15 year-old

The heroine has verbal diarrhea every time she meets the hero, which makes her seem like an airhead. And want to slap her. The story is flat, no mystery, angst, or general knowledge. It will make you wonder about the inner workings of the world’s most famous amusement park. Other than that, it’s a very immature story.

Great!

What a great book! It was lighthearted (for the most part) and funny, and no stupid misunderstanding between the two main characters. I will be reading this again and again! I loved it.

Cute fairytale

I thought this was a cute story. Loved Cal the grandpa’s character and all the scheming he did for his two favourite people. These are both new narrators for me and I really enjoyed them! Cute, fun read!

Cute, and, with a lot of potential!

I really enjoyed this concept, and the setting; it was a fun read! I did struggle, however, with Whitney's character. Whitney was just so immature and whiny, that I had a hard time relating, and imagining how our male protagonist would have been able to develop affection for her as an adult. I like the storyline of a second chance, but, for me, there wasn't enough connection as adults, that wasn't surrounded by past grievances, and present attitude, for a romance to develop.
