power meets power

I started out hating Joss, but by the end of the story I understood her better but disagree with the murder. That was wrong and nothing gained. There are other ways to get sisters together besides violence and murder. I liked Vi and Dev's strength and tough decisions they had to make. Looking forward to more. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review . The narrator did a great job with voices and expressions bringing it to life.

Great series!

If you enjoyed the plotline of book one, book 2 will not disappoint. His Fire Madian picks up where His Frost Maiden left off but with Dev as the narrator. Looking for vengeance for her father's death, Violette is on the hunt for her sister, Josselyn. Little did she know destiny has a different plan. Pillow does such a wonderful job of providing rich detailed scenery and weaving a wonderful plotline. Dev's character won my heart. I cant wait to read book 3.

Great narration and story

I love listening to this narrators voice. He adds such variety to the voices that you can always tell them apart.
The book is very interesting in that it is Violet(Joslyn's half sisiter) that could be Dev's match if she can put a stop to her revenge and discover the truth of who her father once was.

Book two

Violet seeks revenge for what she believes is an unjust death. Dev will protect the ship's crew who has been more of a family than he's ever known. But sparks fly when the one who threatens his crew is the same woman who could he his salvation.
The story is a continuation of book one in this series set in the Qurilixen World. It's full of adventure, emotion, and desire. The narrator brings a refreshing yet ethereal feel while narrating the book.

Good story with drama etc!

I enjoyed this but missed the fac that this was the 2nd in the series!! I will go back to the first when I can but in the interim, I enjoyed this! It flows well and and the characters are well developed and likeable on the whole! I enjoyed the interactions between Violet and Dev and Violet and the rest of Dev's crew! She is feisty and no nonsense while falling to the charms of Dev! All in all a good story but I found the narrator a bit irritating accent wise! Otherwise pretty good in the scheme of things!

Another fun story for this crew

This is the second book in the series. It gives a bit of background at the beginning. Although its from Violet’s POV instead of Josselyn’s. Violet is looking for revenge against her sister. A crew member of Violets kidnaps Dev and places him on her ship. Now the fun starts! They each have a burning hunger for each other. Along with a general dislike because one’s actions will hurt the others family. What to do...what to do?

The planet they land on after using the escape pod?!? Hahahaha! What a funny scene! I’m telling you the crew completely makes these books. Their joking and acting up again each other makes this an enjoyable scene. I mean seriously Rick?!? I can’t wait til you get yours.

These crews are still as outrageous when we get to hang out with them. We are introduced to Violets crew in this book and they seem different but yet similar. They all have anger issues along with smart mouths and they are just dang interesting to learn about. Not counting the laughing I do with them.

A great narrator makes a book even better. Michael Ferraiuolo is beyond amazing!! He makes all of different voices for this large cast. I love listening to what he comes up with. He does amazing with the rise/lowering of his voice and tempo. Plus I can always figure out who is talking just by different voices. Simply outstanding!

This is my second book in the series. I enjoyed it and it is closely tied to the first. I want to give a shout out to the cover of this book! It is perfect for Dev! I look forward to reading/listening to more

Fun, Interesting, Sweet!

Entertaining sci-fi romance! Interesting, unique elements and loved the connection between Violette and Dev. I listened to the audio, which was good. A bit formal, but the narrator did a good job. I do wish I would’ve read the first book in this series before this one though because there are some spoilers in this book for book 1, but I still really enjoyed this on its own. The author gives enough backstory and I really want to read the first one now.

Violette is set on revenge against Josselyn from the first book because she killed Violette’s father. Violette is blinded by grief and too stubborn to listen to any reason. Dev is a red-skinned demon man, who is involved with the spaceship crew that’s with Josselyn, so the connection between Violette and Him is a bit of an enemies to lovers thing. Loved that aspect and they are great for each other. Sweet and sexy times. Of course, I love all the space stuff! I do wish the story was longer though, so there could be more evolving of the story and characters. Overall, a fun, sexy, story with a cool premise!

The awesome Space Lords!!

The Space Lords series is definitely on the top of my list of favorites. His Fire Maiden is another great read in Michelle M. Pillow's Qurilixen World! I love the chemistry between all of the characters. I fell in love with these characters in The Bound Prince (Lords of the Var series). If you enjoyed the plotline of book one, book 2 will not disappoint.
I have been waiting for this book for a long time. We met this crew in previous series and once they were "cursed" I couldn't wait to see where Michelle took us. Dev is half Belvon and due to his parentage he has been hated by both his mother and his father's people. He thinks he doesn't deserve love because he is a "demon" and no one could love him. However, when he looks at Violette he is instantly attracted to her. He knows nothing can happen because she is after one of his crew. Violette made a blood oath to her father when she was a little girl to allow Jocelyn to find him and not hinder her. Little did she know she would be bringing her father's killer to his door. She honored her original blood oath but has made another to honor her father by seeking vengeance on his killer. His killer is Jocelyn, her half-sister, and Dev's crewmate. Violette doesn't have the entire story but at the beginning she doesn't care. There is a lot of anger and pain inside of her. Will she find out about the past before she makes a big mistake? Will Dev and Violette be allowed together? Will the hurt each other to honor those they love? This is an amazing story and I recommend you read it but I also recommend you read the first book in the series as well as the Lords of Var. All of them are amazing stories.. Dev's character won my heart.
