Wiesbaden, 1968. Er wordt ingebroken bij Café Engel. De familie Koch is diep geschokt. Maar als Hilde bij het opruimen van de puinhoop een oude foto uit de tijd van de laatste keizer vindt, komt er een aangename verrassing aan het licht: haar café bestaat binnenkort 100 jaar – en dat moet gevierd worden!
