Book was easy to listen to and the voice readers were good. It’s a beach read or cosy autumn read that’s light and easy but engaging enough that you can enjoy it for what it is and want to finish it.

Molly Harper has the capacity and ability to write some great books. How to date your dragon in the Mystic Bayou series was great fun. But I feel she gets stuck in the pressure to publish regularly and churns out books that end up basically the same. The premise of Sea Witches living in a secret cove on Starfall point is a good one. But honestly all the FMC are exactly the same. They look the same and have only minute differences in temperament brought about by birth order. The male love interests have a touch more variety but barely so. And everyone main character is white. Add to this that the narrators, although talented, cannot vary their voices enough to create distinct differences between characters. They have one female voice for the sisters and one male voice for the love interests. I am not swooning at all and I miss my swoons!
