Conrads Meisterwerk diente nicht nur Francis Ford Coppola als Vorlage zu "Apocalypse Now", bereits 1939 schrieb Welles dazu ein nie verfilmtes Drehbuch. Nun kann man diese Adaption als Hörspiel entdecken - ein imaginärer Film über die Abgründe des Kolonialismus.
