I feel this series has become a better version of "he who fights with monsters" especially with the downgrade of the last few HWFM books. Little slip up by talking about boat people, hopefully that’s the extent of the non escapism following books will do. No one wants to be reminded of real world problems in their escapism stories

As per their usual level of brilliance, Haylock and Heath have kept me entertained for the last 3 days. I find myself regularly smiling and laughing aloud, whilst listening . I'd especially like to note Barry's song, at the end of the book, don't miss it 🤣

Excellent addition to the series and of particular note were the quiet mentions to “ he fights with monsters” and “ dungeon crawler Carl”, other great books with similar sarcastic and witty humour.
