"Her er Rune" er den samlede udgave af de tre bøger "En dum dag", "Du lyver, Rune!" og "Runes hule". Bent Bo Nielsen (1949-2018) var en dansk forfatter. Han var oprindeligt uddannet folkeskolelærer og udgav over 150 børnebøger. Han debuterede som forfatter i 1980 med billedbogen "Skrubben Sigurd" og modtog i 1992 Danmarks Skolebibliotekers forfatterpris sammen med Hans Chr. Hansen.
