I really struggled with the first two books of this series and was so close to giving up but good thing I stuck it out, this book was fantastic. finally some decent characters to follow.

I must say Elizabeth Evans might just convert me to audible! This is the third book in the series & the narrator did not disappoint at all. She spoke so fluidly that I felt myself forgetting that is was the one voice throughout the whole series. She also sets the mood according to the setting of the scenes, the characters emotion, the characters traits etc. Elizabeth, you delivered, ate, served and left no crumbs. I’d pay someone like you to ready stories to my son, nieces and nephews. Your voice and skill could capture and keep anyone’s attention; this is coming from someone with a very short attention span. Thank you for making my first audible experiences beyond pleasant.

This story just keep getting better and better. The range of emotions I went through in this story was incredible. From Dorian, Chaol, Adedion, Rowan, Gaveriel, Mannon. I especially loved Rowan and Aelin's relationship and how it developed. Can't wait to get into book 4.
