I thought these books were slow and boring...idiot. These books are a slow burn, and sure to have you invested. The characters are unique, and the one-liners had me laughing out loud before I realised I was in public. Great story lines and subtle introduction of new characters without losing the integrity of the plot . A gem series. (pun intended).

With every book by Dannika Dark I am more and more impressed. Heartless has risen as one of my favourite of hers so far. Reading this book there is a fight between wanting to slow down to enjoy it for longer and wanting to devour it whole as quickly as I can.
Poe and Raven are exceptional characters, their development individually and together in each both is a thing of beauty. Not to mention their humour, this book, like all the others is hilarious. Mix that with a big dose of ass kicking and a love to defy all others, makes for one hell of a read.
