Life changing

I have used the techniques in this book in interactions with friends, family, coworkers, doctors, and many others.

I took a couple of months to finish this book in its entirety but that really allowed to sink in and I feel like I have somewhat rewired my brain Into a better style of communication

Fix your frame, be assertive

For those who know, this book is on the list of required reading/listening for bettering your life.

I found the list 5 years ago and skipped this book because I was lazy. i thought, how does a book like this end up on that list? That list had books about smashing... wtf is this book about? Not saying no?

I was wrong... very very wrong.

I tell you why this book is on this list, because it showed me how to walk before I ran.

You can't have an effective MAP if you don't understand how to fog, consistently... for the rest of your life, with everyone close to you.

it also made me realize why I had a problem with dread. I wasn't actually being assertive with my needs and implementing dread, I was still begging.

With value, and real assertiveness, comes options.

Make sure you put everything in context with the other books.

Take this book, it's long examples and win your journey.

Boring

Probably the most boring book I've read or listened to. Especially during the examples. I nearly ripped my hair out listening to the dialogues.
