I became a full-time life coach in 2006.

Repetitive information from TV

it's not appropriate to share the old news on this book. After 2019, it can be considered as an obsolete book. Dear Corey, nobody forces you to extend your book to more 17 hours by adding evident information. or maybe this book is written for a primary school.

3 stars

Nowhere near the same impact as Corey's first book 3 % Man. I did get some benefit and it wasn't a disaster however I feel like a lot of things could have been cut out. I'm a conservative so I agree with Corey on a range of issues however at least a third of many things Corey wrote about was either flawed or downright false factually pertaining to Christianity, BLM and the Middle East.
I felt like for a book about mastering yourself alot of it wasn't necessary for this book. Although if Corey wrote a separate book with his views on politics that would be understandable.

Filter your expectations on this one

Corey, whilst I generally resonate with the methods for self development, running off into irrelevant tangents about the American constitution and politics, the Islamic community and the utility of guns, this book is not really the forum in my view. Gets off the topic of mastering YOURSELF. It’s a global audience, I’m in Australia for instance.
Unless your aim is to be divisive? Your YouTube videos are more useful.
But thank you, most of it was enjoyable.

Drivel

At least twice as long if not three times longer than needed. Horrendous narration and should have hired a professional narrator, almost impossible to listen to. Should have renamed the title, Core Wayne Autobiography. Do not waste the unnecessary near 20 hours listening to this audiobook.

Way too long, full of irrelevant fluff and bias

I purchased this book, drawn by the insights I gained from Corey's flagship book, How to Be a 3% Man. The initial sections captivated me with riveting stories from Corey's life, warranting the two-star rating I've given. However, the book gradually becomes diluted with superfluous details, transforming it into something more akin to an autobiography.

The real issue emerges midway through the book when Corey embarks on an incessant tirade, expressing his personal biases on politics and global issues. He echoes pro-gun, pro-Trump, and Islamophobic sentiments without a comprehensive and balanced understanding of the suffering caused by those sharing his views. While I believe much of this stems from his environment's ignorance and bias, that's not the principal concern. The crux of the matter is that such subjective opinions, whether valid or not, have no place in a self-improvement book. The experience becomes particularly grating towards the end, as the book devolves into a monotonous, verbatim recitation of the U.S. Constitution.

Regrettably, despite the value I found in Corey's other work, I felt compelled to return this title. It felt like a bait-and-switch, and in my opinion, it didn't merit a purchase.

Too much religion.

God this... God that... blah blah. Way too much God, religion and imaginary energy nonsense.
