Publisher's Summary

Is "hustle and grind" really the message of the New Way? Is financial freedom really what it's about? Is "living life on our terms" really the summit of this mission? Is the New Way about becoming more successful than our generations before us?

This book is a playful conversation about the new way to live, lead, earn, and give. It is a collection of insights and ideas about how we can, and how we are, changing the world. It's an invitation to the New Superheroes - the people all over the world who give a shit about each other and our earth - to lighten up in our work as game changers. It's a time stamp so that our kids and their kids can hear it and say, "oh, so that's what you were growing through back then."

The New Way is not just about having more money at the end of the month. Success as we'd been taught isn't sufficient. Success to our generation looked and felt completely different to what it looked and felt like to generations before us. The religious separation that our parents' generation know is torturing our hearts. Our planet isn't a place for us to holiday, but a place of permanent residence with the requirement that we nurture and love our Mother Earth as our one collective mother. There is no "top" when it comes to leadership, but instead we're all about the power of tribe. We don't care to move forward at lightning speed, but would rather to stop and go back to our indigenous roots and ensure that ancient wisdoms are never forgotten. Taking care of our brothers and sisters who are without basic necessities is the only way we all win. Play is everything.

We're here to change the world, but we've gotta stop taking it so seriously.

We're here to use our talents and abilities to create epic shit, but we've gotta stop missing the point along the way. It's time for us to thrive like no generation before us ever has.

It's time for us to show the world how good it's really meant to be.

I'm sorry! I just can't.

I should start by saying that I have a bit of an allergy to woo-woo and certain types of lingo. I can convince myself that I'm being too snarky and that the "universe" stuff is helpful as a metaphorical way of thinking, but... it wears thin after a while. I wanted to like this but about 7/8 of the way through this book I'd just had enough. There is some good stuff in here, but it's not for me.

Bad suggestion Audible

Sadly this is a narcissistic, self indulgent, unoriginal take on our generation with no real information. I’m embarrassed at the constant references to DNA like it’s a gift or power. Education is what I’m looking for Audible and you put this in my suggestions.

Author is clearly full of herself

Never have I listened to such dribble. I have no idea who the target audience could possibly be. Researching the author she married into an affluent MLM family & wouldn’t know ‘real’ people if they punched her in the face (which they should)

Tell me something new

I found this young lady telling us story that we have all heard, people evolve, we had great revelations when we became adults. I also found that she repeated her many times

Renewed purpose

This book was awesome! Despite the fact that there are certain beliefs I disagree with, the overall message is one not to be missed! A fantastic take on your impact and important in the world and a soul-filling cry for each of us to raise our 'vibration', follow our hearts, and stand up for the things that make us shine. The only thing I wish was that I could see the illustrations Peta talks about. Definitely would be worth getting the hard copy in order to get the 'extras'!!!
Millenials....this book is gold!!! Don't miss it!!!

Inspiring

I am not a millennial, but I resonate with the topics discussed completely. They are my thoughts, way of being, and my alignment.
Some of the discussion and topics were not new to me, but Peta presented them with a very down to earth no frills honesty, that it kept me listening in for fresh insight and to also reaffirm my current beliefs.
I found this book full of gems, and I have found a new contentment for the future, knowing that earth is in good hands. There are people in the world that care, are committed, and share their ways of thinking to make our lives more meaningful, and our futures brighter.

Couldn’t make it past “Living”

I really wanted to like this book and I think there is a great message in there. However I found Peta’s voice and performance weren’t aligned with my vibrations (to borrow a phrase from Peta).

The foreword started off interesting and the themes and topics are ones that I wanted to learn more about, but I just didn’t enjoy listening to Peta’s voice and found some of the phrases and sayings she used a bit cringey. That’s all personal taste and not meant as an attack or diss to Peta or the content.

I did start to feel that she started talking in too many vague analogies and concepts though and as such found it hard to take anything meaningful away to start actioning. Although I did get the gist, it just started getting a bit airy and at times, too specific to Peta’s experience and lifestyle.
