From the Loving on Purpose Leadership series
A revival environment creates increasing levels of joy, freedom, and peace. These qualities will only remain to the degree that we can protect our relationships with one another. The practice of honor is often a lost art in our modern culture. The Lord is restoring the value and practice of honor in His house. Our churches and homes will only be as strong as they are free. Restoring a culture of honor to our communities and nation will come as the Church embraces this call.
What would have made A Culture of Honor better?
The book itself is great, but this recording is actually a teaching relating to the book. I bought the book for my Kindle and got this audible book to continue my "reading" while I was busy. I was very disappointed to find out it was not the book at all!
What about Danny Silk’s performance did you like?
Danny Silk is a good speaker. I would have loved to hear him narrate his book.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
The book is good. The Audible book is not really the book at all.
Any additional comments?
If you are hoping to get a narration of the book Culture of Honor, don't buy this. It is a teaching about the book, not the unabridged book as it says.

I enjoyed the sermon, enough to go to Kindle to buy the book. (This is what I thought I was buying at AUDIBLE) The teaching is very thought provoking... but I wonder just how it can be implemented in our fellowship.......... I am viewing the giftings of my brothers & sisters with new understanding. I can see I've too often wished for a 'one size fits all' maturity.

Would you listen to A Culture of Honor again? Why?
Provides great information for servant-leadership in the body of Christ.Something like this is NOT just a read-once type book!
Any additional comments?
Looking forward to having the rest of the book on audio, in the (near) future. :-)
Hopeful

This is something we all need to understand and practice in our lives. I wish there was more.
What a great and powerful message the church needs to hear and embrace. Thank You Bethel.
this is a preaching from Danny Silk. this is not the book. I bought it from Amazon while searching for the book it did not say seminar until after I purchased it on Audible.
It is another an excellent teaching. Honor is important in life. Shame comes when we are disobiendent.
This a seminar that will really make a difference in our lives and the lives of those around us. I am inspired to think more deeply about how to apply these truths to my own life.
Danny Silk is the thinking man's evangelical – I put him in the same category as Richard Rohr, Henri Nouwen, and other intellectuals. He's an odd find in some circles since he seems to have a working (perhaps accidental?) grasp of 12 step program foundations AND Christian evangelism. I have listened to his seminars so many times, I find myself quoting him in my own home groups. He has a slight lisp, and from listening to him for years, I even now include his lisp in my quotes...
