Narrator’s female voices

The narrator needs to work on his female voices. The same ridiculous impersonation of what a female sounds like is used for every female character. With no inflection whatsoever, I wanted to turn it off so many times. Definitely better on Kindle. None of the characters were especially likable and the story totally dragged. I just couldn’t get into it.

Overall pretty good

I really enjoyed the storyline of this book. The narrator is the same as the first book and he sounds fine when he does male voices but when he does female voices it sounds like he is either talking to a small child or someone that has no intelligence. The narrator has a pleasant voice overall. It’s just distracting when he does the voices for the women. If your looking for a good haunted house trilogy the first two in this series as well as the back story separate book is really good. I will listen to the third next.

my favorite horror writer

Great book. Honestly this should have been the first book in the series. A prequel in my opinion wasn't necessary.

Riveting

I am running out of good things to say about this series.
I couldn't stop listening to this book. It was a rollercoaster all the way through.
I've lost hours of sleep, I needed to know what happened next.
I've got the next book ready to start listening to.
I can't recommend this series, author and narrator highly enough.
