Story
Max Remus couldn't care less about finding his mate—unlike the rest of his fate-obsessed pack. He totally prefers hanging with his bestie, eating his dad's steak sandwiches, and drawing in his trusty sketchbook. But all that is about to change at the Blue Moon Festival—a summer camp where Elite Pack wolves go to find their mates. The festival is a rite of passage for every teen werewolf, and this year's festival will be one to howl home about. The alpha's son, Jasper Apollo, is attending for the first time.

Story
Bookstore owner Aubrey Barnes likes his quiet, orderly London life, thank you very much. His shop may be struggling, his only employee is a menace, and his plumbing is one creaky pipe away from disaster, but he can handle it. Maybe. He cannot, however, handle the film company that's thrown his Soho street into chaos. And he definitely can't handle the charismatic American actor Blake Sinclair.

Publisher's Summary
Nathan Byrn is running again. The Alliance of Free Witches has been all but destroyed. Scattered and demoralised, constantly pursued by the Council's Hunters, only a bold new strategy can save the rebels from total defeat. They need the missing half of Gabriel's amulet - an ancient artifact with the power to render its bearer invincible in battle.
But the amulet's guardian - the reclusive and awesomely powerful witch Ledger - has her own agenda. To win her trust, Nathan must travel to America and persuade her to give him the amulet. Combined with his own Gifts, the amulet might just be enough to turn the tide for the Alliance and end the bloody civil war between Black and White witches once and for all....

What a way to end the series
I highly recommend this book and the entire series! I was captivated the entire way through finishing the book in a day. I didn't want to stop listening and adore the narrator such a great voice to listen to

When the ending can ruin an entire series
I absolutely loved the first two books. I absolutely loved the first 90% of this book. The ending, however, felt like a cop out and a disappointing, unsatisfying end to an otherwise perfect series. I understand some authors want to have a twist at the end, I get the creative drive behind it. When done well, a twist ending can really make a series. ***Spoilers ahead*** But in this case, it felt like a poorly executed “Bury Your Gays” trope that’s left a sour taste in my mouth. All the character development that Green worked so hard on in the first two books is ultimately tossed aside and the story is wrapped up like bullet points in a training slide. It’s not often I disagree with how an author ends their story, because ultimately it’s their story to tell. In this case, I’m making an exception. The ending could have been so much better. We didn’t need a perfect fairytale ending, nor was I expecting it based on the first two books. But I just can’t accept the ending that Green ultimately chose.

the journey of being 'other'
The last of the trilogy - satisfying ending to a complex story. Characters well wrought and faithfully expressed in an enduring way. love Carl Prekopp voice and expressiveness.
