Dr Tim Does It Again

I can't get enough of Dr Tim Sharp's down to earth wisdom and actionable tips for happiness. I've listened to his other titles in this series and this one is just as brilliant. Highly recommend!

Glad it was free

Couldn't get past the second chapter and turned this off after Sharp repeated himself once too often when suggesting Google becomes your new best friend. "Don't know how to do something? No excuses! just google it!" was his mantra. What's the point in downloading the book? There was nothing new or interesting.

A Good Reminder

Nothing said that we don't already know, but that's the thing - we know. We just need a reminder sometimes.

Episode 7 is missing.

Episode 7 is just a repeat of Episode 6.
Also there is a lot of repetition. But there are lots of tips so you might find something useful. worth a listen, but not the best

Couldn't even get past chapter 3

this is such a generic material, he could have just said: "if you're happy and you know it, clap your hands, therefore clap your hands and be happy".

i expected so much more from a trained psychologist... this sounds like it was written by some guy who underwent a 2-weeks coaching seminar.

Vague

This book was a waste of my time. Was very vague and repetitive.. did not dissect any of the details he was giving, rather than just glossing over things...

Very Helpful

If you are actively looking to try to change your behavior and modes of thought, this will be very helpful. It does take some self awareness and self examination which can get uncomfortable, but is absolutely necessary to alter oneself. I piked the fact that he consistently talked about all of the free ways to achieve permanent change and that he wasn’t simply trying to get you to spend money on other things. You will only benefit from this if you are willing to put in some effort of your own.
