Daniel Goleman's brilliant report from the frontiers of psychology and neuroscience offers startling new insight into our “two minds” - the rational and the emotional - and how they together shape our destiny. Through vivid examples, Goleman delineates the five crucial skills of emotional intelligence and shows how they determine our success in relationships, work, and even our physical well-being.

Too theoretical!
This book is mainly about team EQ and group interactions, with a little touch on personal development. The content is too theoretical with minimal useful guidance in my view.

Mostly non-actionable unenlightening anecdotes
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
The chapter on Agile Emotional Intelligence was the only chapter worth listening to.
The male narrator was nauseating and I found him unbearable to listen to.
Would you be willing to try another book from Harvard Business Review? Why or why not?
Maybe
Would you be willing to try another one of Susan Larkin and James Edward Thomas ’s performances?

Worst Monotone Narrator
Total snooze fest. I had to keep rewinding content as I would find myself thinking about something else. The content and case studies were very well chosen and were very meaningful. It's a shame they were narrated in the dullest monotone ive ever heard. Couldn't get through the one and now I want to go and return all the other HBR books I've downloaded.
